HR Support - Level 3
This apprenticeship is ideal for new or existing HR employees in education that are delivering support to line managers and other colleagues. Our programme is designed to centre around key HR systems, policies and processes. This is to ensure the knowledge skills and behaviours you learn and develop are highly relevant to your role. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you should be confident in implementing compliant and customer focused HR practice.
You will develop the skills and behaviours needed to effectively manage day-to-day HR queries and give advice in schools, along with the practical knowledge to manage HR processes such as recruitment, employee relations, performance and reward management. Our programme typically takes 18 months to complete (subject to working hours and prior knowledge) and we enrol new cohorts each spring and autumn.
After gaining the core HR knowledge skills and behaviours, individuals will find that progression can take many avenues. This can include HR managerial positions, resourcing roles, or HR Analyst. You may also become eligible to apply for an associate membership with CIPD which forms the basis for further qualifications and development. This programme is taught with a blended learning approach, with a mix of live and recorded webinars and self-directed learning, supported by real-world application in your school. Our programme will help you build confidence and effectiveness in your role as well as develop the core knowledge and skills needed to deliver an excellent HR service.
