Comprehensive support across the school

Programmes designed to meet the needs of all school functions.

Our apprenticeship programmes are built specifically for school environments, drawing on the expertise within United Learning, one of the largest education groups in the country. This gives us a strong understanding of how schools operate and how well designed training can support the development of staff while helping to improve outcomes for pupils.

Because we work only in education, our programmes are shaped around the wide range of roles found across a school. We offer training for Teaching Assistants, Early Years practitioners, HR teams, ICT support, school business administrators and sports coaches. These programmes are delivered by experienced staff who understand the needs of schools and provide training that apprentices consistently value. This ensures that every pathway is relevant, practical and aligned with real classroom and operational needs.

Specialists in education

A branch of the largest educational trust in the UK.

As part of United Learning, we understand what it takes for staff to succeed in real school settings. This gives us a depth of insight that general training providers cannot offer, and ensures our programmes reflect the pressures, expectations and pace of school life.

Our programmes are developed with direct input from experienced staff across the trust, making them practical, relevant and closely aligned with the day to day experience of working with pupils, supporting colleagues and managing school operations. Every pathway is shaped around what schools actually need, helping staff build confidence and contribute meaningfully from the start.

Led by experienced professionals

Guided by qualified experts who combine industry knowledge with hands-on experience.

Our programmes are delivered by qualified staff who bring extensive knowledge of the education sector. As noted by Ofsted, apprentices value the high quality of their training and the chance to learn from industry experts during both online and in person sessions.

Every apprentice is supported by a dedicated programme lead who combines sector expertise with practical understanding of school environments. This ensures the training is not only engaging but directly relevant to the challenges staff face each day, helping them build confidence and excel in their roles.

Building a stronger workforce & unlocking opportunities

A chance to connect with a broader network of peers across multiple trusts.

When apprentices train with us, they become part of a wider community across United Learning, one of the largest education groups in the country. This creates opportunities to connect with peers in similar roles, share experiences, and learn from a broad range of perspectives across many different school settings.

As apprentices build their skills, they gain the confidence to take on greater responsibility and progress in their careers. Our programmes are designed to support this growth through structured learning, regular guidance from experienced programme leads, and clear routes toward recognised qualifications. This investment strengthens your workforce and supports long term development for both the apprentice and your school.

Free recruitment support

Finding the right apprentice can be challenging, which is why we offer a free recruitment service.

Our team draws on experience supporting schools across United Learning to guide you through each stage of the process, ensuring you feel confident and supported from start to finish.

From shaping clear and effective job adverts to screening applicants and advising on suitability for specific roles, we work closely with you to make sure you find the right fit for your team. This support also extends to helping existing staff access apprenticeship opportunities, giving them structured development routes that align with your school’s needs.

Dedicated support throughout

You and your candidate will receive support throughout their study.

Each apprentice is paired with a dedicated programme lead who offers one to one guidance and helps them stay on track through regular progress reviews and structured check ins. This approach ensures apprentices feel supported, informed and confident as they work through their programme.

Your team also has access to the tools and information needed to guide apprentices effectively, including mentor briefings and use of the online learning and e portfolio system where progress can be monitored. Apprentices benefit from clear feedback points, surveys and evaluation opportunities, creating a transparent and collaborative process that supports both the learner and the school.

Flexible training options

Each school has unique needs, and our approach to off-the-job training reflects that.

Every school has its own rhythm and pressures, so our approach to off the job training is designed to fit around your timetable rather than disrupt it. Apprentices complete a blend of on the job and off the job learning, with a minimum of 6.5 hours per week, but this time does not need to be taken in a single block.

You can distribute training hours across the week in a way that works best for your staffing and pupil needs. This flexible approach makes it easier for apprentices to balance their learning with their day to day responsibilities, while still meeting all programme requirements and maintaining steady progress.
