Teaching Assistant - Level 3

This programme is ideal for anyone currently working in a teaching assistant/learning support role in a school. The Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship has been written to reflect current research and pedagogy around what works when supporting students. The curriculum is delivered via live webinars, group sessions and 1:1 tutorials with adaptable tasks and assignments. The content will reflect your role within your school and is suitable for all phases.

You will deepen your knowledge and skills to ensure you are best placed to support children with specific needs. Alongside this, you will contribute to creating effective learning environments in partnership with other education professionals.

Becoming a level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant can lead to a long and rewarding career as the demand for support roles continues to grow across education settings. You can progress into many job roles including senior (higher level) teaching assistant, additional needs assistant and team leader alongside having the opportunity to develop a specialism, such as literacy, English as an Additional Language or special education.
