Benefits of Apprenticeships

SPACER

#ONE

Investing in you

We know that working and studying at the same time may seem daunting, so we’ve made sure our programmes are balanced in a way that won’t add to your workload – or eat into your life outside of work.

Apprenticeships allow you to work towards a qualification during normal working hours. With support from your school/employer, your time will be split 20/80 between training and your school role. Even better, most of the programme will be delivered online, meaning you won’t use as much of your precious time travelling to a training venue.

#TWO

Supercharge your skills

We understand that professional development goes hand in hand with job satisfaction. By choosing an apprenticeship, you can take the next step in your career and learn whilst you work.

Whether you dream of a career working with children, want to expand your knowledge and skills in your current role or are preparing to progress, gaining a professional qualification through an apprenticeship could be the answer.

Our programmes are designed to fit with the academic year, with the curriculum directly relating to the day-to-day experience of working in a school or nursery. You’ll be able to apply your newfound skills and build knowledge and confidence – straight away, every day.

#THREE

Sharing is caring

You’re not in this alone. At United Learning Apprenticeships, we believe that the more we share, the more everyone benefits.

By studying for an apprenticeship, you’ll get to engage with in-school mentors as well as your apprentice peers from across the country. Through these discussions and group training sessions, you will be able to share practice, enabling you to gain a deeper insight into your role.

You will have the opportunity to talk through tasks, activities, and assignments with other apprentices, as well as with your mentor and expert Programme Lead. You’ll finish your qualification with a developed professional network, and possibly even some new friends!
